Cough assist consumables

Circuits, masks, filters and connectors for cough assist machines. We are the Australian distributor for the ABM BiWaze Cough System, so we stock genuine BiWaze circuits. We also carry ClearLite CoughAssist breathing systems and masks for Philips CoughAssist E70 users.

  • BiWaze Cough circuits: standard 1830 mm circuits with a child face mask, adult small, medium or large face mask, mouthpiece or trach connection, plus the patient port adapter and air inlet filters.
  • ClearLite CoughAssist: breathing systems with a small adult, adult or large adult mask, face masks in sizes 1 (infant) to 6 (extra large adult), a straight mouthpiece and a 1.2 m smoothbore system with filter.
  • Face masks: air-inflated economy face masks from size 0 (neonate) to 6 (extra large adult), and Mdevices anaesthesia masks.
  • Filters and connectors: bacterial filters, Intersurgical straight connectors, a 22 mm smoothbore tube and a disposable catheter mount.

Choosing cough assist consumables

Match the circuit to your machine. BiWaze circuits are designed for the BiWaze Cough. ClearLite CoughAssist breathing systems are for the Philips CoughAssist E70 and similar machines.

Then choose the patient interface your clinician has recommended:

  • Face mask: the most common interface. Sizing matters for a good seal, so check the size against the current mask before reordering.
  • Mouthpiece: for people who can form a good lip seal.
  • Tracheostomy connection: connects directly to a tracheostomy tube, usually with a catheter mount.
Most circuits, masks and filters are single patient use. Replace them as advised by the manufacturer and your treating team, and sooner if they are damaged or soiled.
