Flexible SpO2 Sensor is a versatile sensor for short term and continuous monitoring in a broad range of patient sizes. This product is engineered for dippable cleaning, enhancing workflow efficiency and reduce infection transmission in the ICU.

Indications:

  • Noninvasive continuous or spot-check monitoring of SpO2 and pulse rate
  • Indicated for use with monitoring systems that use Nellcor Oximax and Nellcor compatible pulse oximeters

Cleaning:

Designed for dippable cleaning. That's important because:

  • Probes can act as vectors of infection transmission
  • Meets the current home-care standard (IEC 60601-1-11:2015)
  • It also meets required operating conditions of:
    • 0 to 40 C operating temperature
    • 15 to 95 percent non-condensing RH
    • 620 to 1060 hPa atmospheric pressure
  • Routine cleaning or low-level disinfection is recommended when using the sensor on the same patient

Accuracy:

  • SpO2 accuracy: 70–100%: 2.5 digits (ARMS)
  • Pulse rate accuracy: 20–250 BPM: ±BPM

Additional Information:

  • Validated by clinical tests, where the measured values of the sensors were compared with those of the arterial co-oximetry in healthy adult subjects over the specified functional oxygen saturation range
  • These values were validated on the following monitors: Nellcor PM1000N, N600x, N560, N395
